Linda M Paton obtained her B.A and LLD from the University of Saskatchewan, in Saskatoon. She was admitted to the Alberta law Society in 1977 and has practiced law in Alberta ever since.

She began her legal career working for a downtown Edmonton firm known as Stack Smith Bracco & Irwin. In 1986 she left Stack Smith Bracco & Irwin and formed another downtown Edmonton partnership known as Paton Croll. She practiced in downtown Edmonton until moving her practice to Beaumont.

Linda has lived in Beaumont since 1977 and loves the fact that she works in the same town as she lives. Over the years, she has been involved in many different ways within the community. She sat on Beaumont Town Counsel for 2 terms, she also sat on the Leduc Hospital Board for 6 years. She was actively involved in coaching girl’s soft ball and acted as the treasurer of the figure skating club. She was active as probono legal counsel when Place Beausejour was being built and has acted and continues to act as probono counsel for some of the service clubs in Beaumont. She is an active member of the Beaumont Chamber of Commerce. Linda practices primarily Real Estate and Mortgage law as well as Wills and Estates.
